  • AI-Generated Content: Summaries, topics, and embeddings generated from your bookmarks for search and organization.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our service, including features used and actions taken.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers when using our web app or extensions.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the LinkMinds service.
  • Process and organize your bookmarks using AI-powered features.
  • Enable semantic search and smart categorization of your saved content.
  • Send you service-related notifications and updates.
  • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience.
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with PostgreSQL databases. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure that your data is only accessible to you. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest. We regularly review our security practices and update them as needed to protect your information.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate LinkMinds:

  • Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and backend infrastructure.
  • OpenAI / Google AI: AI processing for bookmark summarization, topic extraction, and embedding generation.
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and payment management.
  • PostHog: Product analytics and error reporting, to understand how features are used and fix problems.

These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We only share the minimum data necessary for these services to function.

5. Cookies

LinkMinds uses essential cookies and local storage to maintain your authentication session and store your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Export your bookmark data at any time.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove all your personal data and bookmarks within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.
